hi.

here is an image, and there is shown the default height of lines (of a sample family).

i want, that that line height can be configurable. i mean, that i want that the program set the default line height less than it sets now. (for the purpose of the printing pages/space economy, as i have enormous diagrams, and want, that the line height was very less..)

so, it is good to add an option to set it in pixels (for example, where i can set 20px or etc.. for a default line height). of course, if program meets another requirement, it can set more height, but i mean, if there is a default, normal family structure.

Those lines, while set at a default height, are 110% adjustable. You can move the people attached to them anywhere you like. To make shorter lines. move them up (or the family above down). For longer lines, movethem down (or the family above up). The lines can even be diagonal, or mufti-directional to go around other people/objects.

Here is a sample from my personal family tree that shows this:

NO!

I MEAN, when i create a new family, the line is automatically created with a predefined height.

and there (somewhere) should be an option, to predefinely customize that height! i dont want to manually adjust that height with mouse everytime, but want to set it predefinely.

so, when i create a new family, the vertical lines should be created with my predefined height.
