Hi,
I have upload the software with the last version and I was doing the Gedcom to export to my phone with family GTG...
But when I open the file (with family gtg and also other software) in place of "death place" there is something like "namesurnameoftheperson + undefined"...
Probably it is a problem of Genopro script...

Who could please help me? Smile

It may not be due to the GenoPro script.  I have been unable to reproduce this error.  Could you possibly post a section of the .ged produced containing an individual with a corrupt death place?

Alternatively if you are prepared to send your .gno to me attached to a Private Message (PM) (or instead within GenoPro use File / Send to my username, i.e. genome)  I can run the export myself and check it.

Ok I have your .gno thanks.  You are correct there is a problem with the script somewhere.  It is very strange because the individual Dominicus Peruzetti for example has place of death, funeral and disposition set to the same place, yet only the place of death is reported incorrectly, place of funeral and disposition are correct. The script uses the same function for each Unsure

I am investigating ....

Your .gno has enabled me to discover the cause of the problem.  There is an issue with the GenoPro Report Generator interface in conjunction with JScript when you have in your .gno a Custom Tag that is a child tag of built-in 'object' tag.

I doubt if this will ever be corrected within GenoPro.exe (it has been 3 years since the last release). All that you can do is circumvent the problem.

In your case you have a Custom Tag death.Place.FORM that is causing the error.  You can either use  Tools / Tag Editor to change the permanent name of this tag say to death.Place_FORM or alternatively delete the custom tag entirely.  Use Table Layout / Individuals to do this. If the column 'death.Place.FORM' is not displayed then right click on the column headings and use 'Column Properties' to show it.  Then Right Click on the 'death.Place.FORM' column and choose 'Delete custom tag 'death.Place.FORM'. Note that removing the tag in the Tag Editor will not remove it from your .gno

Then you can rerun the Gedcom export to produce a correct .ged file.

But, if I delete the tag, in the death place on Family GTG there will be the right death place?

I try to change the permanent name of death.Place_FORM, but there is no changes...

Deleting the tag will leave the Place itself untouched as you will only be deleting the death.Place.FORM subtag, not death.Place.

I am surprised that renaming the tag did not result in any change, however I think I have found another circumvention to this issue. Please try version 2015.02.01 without deleting or renaming and let me know if that works OK

The parameters are corrected but in the folder there isn't the picture files... Probably I could solve the problem by copy them from the folder pictures... But is it correct that the report generator doesn't copy them automatically?
