I have been researching my family history and have been unable to locate a William Newton, approx. date of birth 1803. He was supposedly born in the state of Virginia. William was the father of Robert Newton, d.o.b. 1-10-1832/1834. William married a Mary "Maria"
Garner on January 16, 1828, in King George County, Virginia. He and Mary "Maria" eventually moved to Ohio and then to Piatt County, Illinois.

I am wanting to find out more information concerning William Newton and Mary Garner-Newton. If anyone has any information, plz. do share.
