I'm using Firefox as I found Chrome is not compatible with Windows Media Player and IE10 keeps crashing.
I have installed the plugin for Firefox and activated which is why I can now get the player to work on my computer and for the main two trees on the GenoPro site.
Its only the private trees which won't work even though I have uploaded the same corrections to the home page for them as for the two large trees.
I am at least happy that the Beath_Tait_Ancestors and the Tree_Compilation work as they took hours to upload.

Using a media player plugin is perhaps a little outdated. AFAIK all modern browsers support the HTML5 'AUDIO' tag.  I think most browsers will work with audio in .mp3 format so html such as the following should work.

<audio controls>
<source src="mymusic.mp3" type="audio/mpeg">
</audio>

'lego audio video erro ergo disco' or "I read, I listen, I watch, I make mistakes, therefore I learn"

I will try this later, but for the moment I have encrypted login pages on my web site and in all trees and have found that, by not making my trees private with password, but just hidden the media files work.
I don't want strangers accessing my private trees as they contain details of living relatives and hope that if they can't see them they won't be able to open them.
