I need to contact genome (Ron) about the XML Toolkit, but his IM and email links are not working.  In running the Toolkit to import data for existing individuals, I get the following error in the log and I don't know what to do:
Please contact me or tell me how to contact 'genome'

Base skin version: 2014.01.17

Loading XML copy of .gnofile

Building hash table ofxml Individuals

Importing Tags for 3individuals...

I believe that the PM and email are presently broken. The easiest and preferred way to contact me is via this forum as indeed you have done.

However please try to avoid posting a new query to an existing topic. I have split your post into this new thread and will investigate the problem you are experiencing.

Thank you.  I did not know how to contact you and am sorry for putting my message in an inappropriate topic.
I previously had no problem using the XML Toolkit for importing new data into my existing gno file.  But now I seem unable to do this.
Is there something wrong with a 'Tag Display Name' being '09VL HOUSENUM'?

I appreciate any help you can provide, but I understand if this is a peculiar issue.

Also, I don't know if it matters for me to update to the new GenoPro.  I have been very happy with the older version for my anthropological research and am not sure of any benefits in the newer version.

Thanks much.          Lee

You may have just answered your own problem. I tried creating a tag starting with a digit and it was rejected. tags must start with a letter or underscore.

By purchasing GenoPro 2016 you are helping to ensure the future of GenoPro and will also benefit from updated report skins. You appear not to be using the latest version of the XML Toolkit. It will also show you apppreciate the support provided here Wink
