I have changed my email address since I last accessed this forum.  I have tried to update using the My Profile link but only get an error message that my user name or email address already exists on the web site.  I did not want to change my user name.  When I tried changing both email address and user name, I received the same message.  However my new email address does not appear in my profile.  What am I doing wrong please?  At present, any emails sent to me will not get through as my old address no longer works.

Thanks in advance

Dear Colin,
Please let me know what your other email address(es) and I will update your GenoPro account.  The easiest way is to use our Account Recovery Wizard where you enter your old and new email address.

Many thanks. I may have made matters worse as I have since obtained the password for my new email address account (having realised that this must have happened when I upgraded to GenePro 2016 last month) and logged onto that.  There is no point me having two accounts.  Will the Account Recovery Wizard merge them?  If so, I am happy to do that myself.

Just a detail: Colin is indeed my first name but my parents brought me up to answer to my second name, which is Piers.  Don't ask me why!

Thanks again

The Account Recovery Wizard ( http://www.genopro.com/registration/account-recovery/ ) sends the request to us to merge the accounts, and we do this process manually.  The benefit of using the Account Recovery Wizard is faster processing time.

Thank you.  I have just used the Wizard as suggested.

I merged both of your GenoPro accounts, so you may use any email to access your updated account.
