Hello,

I have bought a new computer and would like to use Genopro on it but a message says that I need a "golden key"...

How can I use this software on my new computer ?

Thank you.

Ivan.

I am curious, what version of GenoPro are you using asking for a GoldenKey?

The registration key you purchased is valid for your lifetime for GenoPro 2011 available at http://www.genopro.com/2011/

I have bought a new computer. I have been using genopro since it was freeware. I was given a golden key when I was asked, if I would pay, if I remember correctly $20 to help keep things running. I recently payed a further subscription for another upgrade. I am struggling to get up and running on my new machine using the key sent to me by email.

The fact that you can log in to this forum indicates you have installed the program in some way, or is that still a problem?
If the problem is getting started, you could try looking at the help page, or come back with more specific problem

The key I have was sent to me via email. I think I downloaded a beta version of genopro. Are the keys version sensitive. Is it possible that I have downloaded the wrong version.

Your golden key can be used on GenoPro11, GenoPro16 has a different key. The fact that this forum shows you as a customer means you have been registered.
V.16 will read earlier files so you should be able to use this with earlier data. If you want to you can have both versions on your PC, just put them in different places such as Genopro11 for the older version

Just use your key starting with 3-C4s3 and ending with 52795.
