Trying to figure out how to handle the situation where one sister gave up her child for
adoption
and another sister adopted the child.

Just create a family line for the sister (e.g. select, then New Mate (M) and then delete mate) then select child, right click '
Link
as child' and connect to sister's
family line
. select the
pedigree
and change to adopted
'lego audio video erro ergo disco'

This helped me, too. I have a female cousin who had a son with a
husband
, who she later
divorced
. Her next husband adopted him. This suggestion worked for that situation, too. So Thanks!
