Using Windows File Explorer and right-clicking in a folder, the possibility exists to create a new GenoPro document (.gno file).

However, the file created in this way is empty and GenoPro will exit immediately without any error message when you try to open it afterwards by double-clicking on it.

If you first start GenoPro and then try to open the empty GNO file you will get an error of course.

This "problem" has been around for a while but I never got the time to report it.

Interesting. I'd never noticed this before. Probably because I always open GenoPro directly (I have shortcuts on both the taskbar and Start menu in Windows 7) or with an existing file.

GenoPro: Best. Genealogy. Software. Ever.
