 I want to use the index person button but because some individuals have less info then others Ie so dates or names are missing, this results in the index box being different sizes and look messy. Is there a way of still using this box but fixing its size for every individual? I know this is only a visual thing but I love this software and its just a small niggle i would like to sort before i get it professionally printed.

To globally set the individual top and bottom label background colour for all individuals select all (Ctrl / A) , right click on one of the selected individuals and select Properties from the context menu, then set the required colour on the Display tab.
