When completing the general properties I have a situation whereby I have 3 women in my family tree who have had 2 or more marriages. There is a box for the family name and a box for a second (married) surname but there is not the opportunity to add further subsequent married/changed surnames and maintain a record of the person's previous surnames.  Is there any way that this can be done please or would it mean a change to the programme.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I suggest you use  Family Name for original/maiden name and use the Alternative Names field for subsequent name changes. Perhaps place in brackets and add dates. Choose the best format in the Full Name drop down list

e.g. Mary Jones (Smith 1936-1952, Brown 1952-)

I would only use 2nd Last Name for cultures where is normal to have two surnames e.g.Spanish
