By default, GenoPro stores its .gno files (family trees & genograms) into the folder named "My Documents". You may change this folder when installing GenoPro (see GenoPro Installation Command Line Parameters), or after installing GenoPro. The default save folder may be any folder on your local machine, or a network mapped drive such as letter X: to store the .gno files on one of your server. Your GenoPro files are as safe as any local file you may have on your computer such as a photo or a local Word document.

GenoPro does not store its files in the "cloud". If you wish to save your .gno files over the Internet, GenoPro is capable of doing so via APIs, provided your server has fully implemented the necessary APIs.
