I feel like I have tried everything. I have read these forums, and used some of the suggestions but nothing works.

I am a Mac user OS 11.6.5. I used Crossover to access Genopro and built my Genogram, which took me several hours with the information I wanted to include. I am very pleased with how it turned out. But now I'm panicking because I cannot for the life of me get the Genogram into any format I can use and submit to school. I cannot cut and paste to Word, for whatever reason what happens in crossover isn't recognized outside of it. I tried downloading Adobe hoping it would add as a printer, but that didn't work, possibly because I haven't a clue what I'm doing. I've tried a few other things but nothing seems to work.

I need this desperately by Sunday. I don't want all my work to go to waste.

Can anyone offer any help or insight??

Thanks

Have you tried printing to a PDF 'printer'? See for example https://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/mac/faq/printfromcrossover

I have tried downloading Adobe, and one or two others, including the one you provided here, which my computer will not allow me to open to install. When I have attempted to add these others as printers on my Mac but they aren't listed and I cannot figure out why! Any suggestions?

Just saying 'my computer will not allow me to open to install' doesn't help with diagnosing any issue.  Details of any error message given might be of some help.

The installation instructions in the link I provided suggests that if you get a security warning you should Control & Click on the package instead of double click.  I am not familiar with either MacOs or Crossover so have no other advice.

Some Macs uses the M1 chip ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_M1 ) which is ARM-based which is both powerful and battery efficient. Unfortunately this new chip cannot run GenoPro 2020 and the code of GenoPro 2020 is too old to be compiled with it. GenoProX is being built with the Qt framework which will be able to compile for the M1.

A good friend of mine, Monica McGoldrick, just purchased an M1 and she is currently an emulator for the x86 instruction set that GenoPro 2020 has been compiled to. I will contact Monica to get an update and let you know if this emulator is something to consider.
