The current version of GenoPro (beta 11h) allows the co-existence of some obviously incompatible data. What I actually have in mind is dates: it is possible to have individual X born in 1940 and gotten married in 1935. I suggest that certain filters are applied so that e.g. date of birth cannot be later than date of marriage (or than date of death, or than date of mother's death) or no earlier than parents' date of birth, etc.

Requires some work, but it will help diminish typing errors. I thought of that last night, when I noticed that a couple in my tree that was born in the late '60s "got married" in 1940. :!: :(

well you can have a child out of wedlock

example

dick and jane

can have harry

THEN get married a year or 2 later

so harrys date of birth will be before there marriage date

however you could have that

harry can not be born BEFORE or AFTER either Dick or Jane birth/death

After the release of version 2.0, there will be a tool for detecting possible errors, such as a birth of a child before its parent, being divorced before being married, twins with different birth date, a "childless" individual with children, etc.

No doubt. When I was talking about X's date of birth being before the date of marriage, I was talking about his/her marriage.

Yes. I'm not saying that this can actually occur, what I'm saying is that a typing mistake may be prevented by certain filters.
