It would be nice to have the option to add "upwards" one generation of parent displaying only one of the two, or add "downwards" a child without necessarily adding a mate. This can be done manually (by deleting one of the two and adjusting the marriage bar), but some help from GenoPro would be very welcome. Two reasons for this:
1. There are many cases where nothing about the one spouse/parent is known. In my tree I have many entries which are completely blank (which doesn't look nice) and remain there simply because it is too much work to eliminate them.
2. In compiling the family trees of historical dynasties, often we have available or we want to display in one vertical line only the heirs of the throne or whatever.
Regarding the latter, an alternative option might be to be able to check a "Heir" box and let GenoPro isolate the vertical single line of heirdom (though usually in such cases there is somewhere in the line a jump to a non-immediate descendant; perhaps some input from a historian would be useful - there is somebody who said is a medieval historian, isn't there?).

GenoPro was designed that there are two parents. If only one parent is known, then you include the other parent without entering any information for him/her. If there is only one parent present, GenoPro will assume the individual was a single parent (this may be the case of an individual adopting a child).
