I am curious to see such a family tree.  You are welcome to publish it to http://familytrees.genopro.com/.  Eventually GenoPro will have a "medical" tab to enter more information, however we are not adding new features.  Today I just completed the upgrade of import module with the new XML parser.  This parser will enable GenoPro to push the XML technology a bit further with inline objects.

Well, I have one, but I'll have to copy the original *.gno's to the master *xml (I started out with entering 25 ind's per file, and with hundreds of files to work with, it'll take some time. Also I was using v1.0, and with so many upgrades, it'll take even longer), but publishing is (as of now) one of my main goals.

I was just going to suggest forgetting my extra blood info for 2.0 or 3.0, but including it in the (I think) medical tab would be great. (If I have to wait until 2.0 now, I can sure wait for it to be added later, say 1,2,3 etc. years ).

Why you don't request a free registration key? Each beta gives you another 30-day evaluation key.  There are so many betas out there that you can run GenoPro for quite a while... just on those evaluation keys... at least until until GenoPro 2.0 is out .

Yes, I fully understand that, but I find that using an *.xml will serve me for a few more years, until I absolutely "need" an evaluation key, and then to buy.Though, I never knew you could get an evaluation key for each Beat, and use it on the current one. (Plus, I've found that if the *.xml when imported to GenoPro doesn't work properly, I can easily open it in text and edit it manually).

Though, I'll give it some thought

One more thing, when 2.0 comes out, will there be periodical updates, as there is now? And If so, this option still be available, "run GenoPro for a while on the updates"? And I've heard of a 2.1 too, will GenoPro be going from 2.0 to 2.1 and continuing, or from 2.0 to 3.0?

We will continue improving GenoPro and producing new betas.  After fully releasing GenoPro 2.0, we will start developing GenoPro 3.0.  When the first Beta of GenoPro 3.0 becomes available, we will give the option to our customers to purchase the upgrade of GenoPro 3.0.  Purchasing the upgrade will give access to all the betas.  Those customers will benefit the new features right away, such as a collaboration system to share and edit your genealogy online.

I'll add blood type if present as a phrase under 'Additional Items', as it seems a little incongruous to put it in the same paragraph as the birth, death (grand)parents & siblings. I concur with the view that further classification of blood type can be accommodated via custom tags.

When?? It's been a few updates, and still not in.

What King Semsem might have thought is that there is no blood types other then ABO Rh ...

It's also related with racial issues in one of the previous posts... New guidelines suggest that it's better to use blood types differencies (these other groups) then any other racial description...

In response to Ron, I just didn't see the "Individual Additional Information". How stupid of me, I didn't even realize the relationships were gone.

But, yes, I feel that the blood types would be more helpful than the races part.

Blood type has only been around since 1901, and is not included in any census records, even to this day. Race has been included in nearly every census in the western world for hundreds of years. For a medical database, I can see how blood type is valuable... for genealogy, race is used for characterizing groups, tracking migrations, and differentiating blood lines. It is also used for social demographics and medical screening. Let's not throw out this valuable tool as irrelevant.
