When adjusting lines, sometimes the horizontal lines disconnect from the vertical ones. In this case, it may be difficult to once again find the connection. I suggest that once connected, lines should not be disconnected unless a specific action is taken to disconnect the individuals from each other (i.e. remove a relationship).

The feature to detach lines is by design to allow complex relationships to be created. By default, GenoPro does keep the lines connected while offering the versatility of disconnecting and re-connecting them.

I am using the latest Beta version.
By default, I would expect that the lines not detach. There should be a specific action (e.g. pressing the Cntrl key in combination with dragging a mouse) that would detach a line

The lines do not detach unless you move the family object. If you move an individual, the family object (the horizontal line) will stretch to include the parents and children.
Adding a key combination while dragging the mouse would require users to read the user manual. Nobody does, and people would be forced to build simple genograms.
