I am just trying out the new report generator.

It produces the individual photos of parents and children in both the individual and family pages.
However other photos linked to the family are not produced when selecting a family from the Family Index.
The additional photo references appear in the Properties associated with the Family link line on the Genogram.

In the earlier versions of the report generator these photos appeared below the last member in the family.
Does the new version ignore these photos or am I overlooking some option in the report generator?

TIA

I want a very fancy photo album in the report generator... something to impress! So far, I have tried a few things, including a Java applet to create a slideshow. I think the solution is to use XML/XSLT and JavaScript. My appointment with my XML/JavaScript guru got postponed.

Version 4 of my sample report template has a slide viewer so that all pictures can be seen. This may suffice until Dan gets his fancy photo album. see here Topic6778-60-1.aspx#1755

Hello!

I have recently changed my laptop and I am trying to update my files. I have discovered that the pictures that are saved into the program do not show anywhere. The path is there, however there is no photo to be seen. Can you please help me?

Pictures are not 'saved into the program' or the .gno file. only paths to the pictures are recorded in the .gno file, so if you move your .gno to another computer you should move a copy of the photos as well. If the paths are different on the new computer then you can use the GenoPro menu item Tools/ Relink Pictures.. to adjust the paths of the pictures recorded inthe .gno.
