I have been using 2
Beta
for my
family tree
which is split into 4 branches on separate
GenoMaps
. To keep my web
page
up to date I have been using the .v1x.gno file.
I have just recognised that this breaks the
links
between the maps - another part of the problem described by Dan when selecting across GenoMaps. Until this is fixed, can any one suggest a better way of producing a V.1
report
.
I have created an extra v.2 version of the data and moved all of it back onto one map. It looks a mess, but that does not matter at the moment. However the original hyperlink characters are duplicated and the data is still in 4 separate sets. I have deleted one of the hyperlink characters and joined the duplicate 'as child' to the original
marriage
. the data is now continuous.
Has anyone a better solution?

Your question is a bit strange because
generating a report
using v1x.gno will be history as soon as the
new report
generator is ready. I'm having a bit of extra work to do with this new report generator. As I was adding new tags to the HTML
templates
, I discovered I needed to change the internal I/O architecture to use custom VARIANTs. Well, this represents a fair amount of work but in the long run, it will be winner.
