Hello to one and all I dont know if this can be done but i am going to ask anyway. I want to do a report like this : Generation No. 1

Are you looking for a Web report or a printable (book style) report in say Rich Text Format (.rtf)? This has been discussed here. The GenoPro Report Generator has the tools to produce both by writing a custom skin, but at present only a HTML Narrative report is available.

Thank you kindly - i did look in the report section but it was all too technical for the likes of me. I see you have alterd the passage i pasted. It now doesnt show the generation link between each person. I guess i will just have to do it all by hand, this will mean fun and games as ther is over 600 names in the tree now. I am looking into the feasability of using the GenoPro Report Generator to provide a descendants report similar to the one you originally posted. The report would be in .rtf format so that it can be easily printed. In the meantime you can always export your GenoPro data into a GedCom format file and re-import into a free package such a Legacy Family Tree Standard Edition and generate various reports from there, including a descendants report.

I'm afraid this one hasn't reached the top of the pile as yet. The Narrative & Export Gedcom Reports have keep me pretty busy. I am currently working on updating some of my old 'XML Utilities' such as adding marriage dates etc. to family line display text and custom settings for individual top labels. The lack of print-orientated narrative reports in GenoPro has an easy work-around, simply export to Gedcom and use PAF/PAF Companion or Legacy for example. When I do get around to it (assuming no one else comes forward with it) it will be XML based using the Open Document Format rather than rtf as having looked at it briefly I found it far too complicated.
