I ran a report and had it upadated to your site (very slick btw)

However i noticed that under my brothers page my name is being pulled from my nickname not from my first name

It has been that way for some time. It was done deliberately as people are generally better known by their 'nickname', short form or familiar name than their registered/baptised/given name. My registered first name is Ronald but I'm generally known as Ron, although family call me Ronnie. I know that in some cases nicknames are imposed by friends that you would rather not have but tend to stick all the same.

Perhaps a better solution would be to have a 'known as' field that would specify the name to be shown in the report.

There was some discussion on this last year - see http://support.genopro.com/Topic5659-58-1.aspx

You're welcome to edit skin according to your preferences!

My point is the default should be proper name

if you want it to be someones nick name then that should be the edit

I propose to change the skin to use the Dictionary phrase
 <!-- 0=First Name, 1=Full Name, 2=Nickname -->
 <PhNameFriendly T="{0}[{?!0}{1}][, known as {2},]" />
So we would have say Robert, known as Bob,. The person's full name is provided in the heading, and is only used in this phrase when is there is no first name. I hope this will be acceptable to most people.

I like the idea of a phrase PhNameFriendly.  Ron, can you tell me a bit more how GenoPro would this phrase?  Do you wish to have a tag i.Name.Friendly where GenoPro uses the phrase to format the friendly name?
