The Google Map shows a different place with similar name.

I created the place: Mision Catolica Polaca, a church with parent place: Las Condes.

Las Condes has been created as a place in region: Santiago, country: Chile.

The Google Map shows: Rua de Santiago de Chile (it means "Santiago de Chile street") in Santiago, Spain.

Thanks,

I think it's a problem of Google, Not a problem of Genopro Wink

The Google Map shows a different place

Put the Coordinates of the Place into Genopro and it will locate it precisely every time.

Thanks,

The GenoPro Narrative Report will corrrectly look up a place with a region set to Santiago and country set to Chile without the need of latitude and longitude coordinates. I notice that in your example the word Santiago appears twice in the resulting address (ie. in the street and region). Please check that you have not put Santiago in both county/region AND state/province, either in Las Condes or Mision Catolica Polaca.

Ron, you are right....Santiago was mentioned as a city and as a state.

Searching in Google Earth:

"Santiago, Chile": Shows the right place

"Santiago": Shows Santiago in Spain

"Santiago, Santiago, Chile": Shows the same map in my report, Rua de Santiago de Chile, Santiago, Spain.

It looks better to entry the geo coordinates for mapping purposes...

Thanks all,

Carlos
