It would be quite an improvement if it were posible to use the dictionary.xml not only in generating reports, but also to populate the program itself. At the moment it is always necessary to keep in mind the translations between the items used in the program and the values in dictionary.xml which are used to generate reports.

Our plan is to use an XML file for the translation of GenoPro. For details, see post Translating GenoPro into other languages. One thing for sure is we will provide a mechanism for one dictionary to inherit the translation of another dictionary, as well as sharing of enumerations.
