People who have multiple marriagas/relationship do not AutoArrange correctly

I have an individual who's wife died during childbirth, who then later remarried and had more children. However, the AutoArrange tool does NOT format this relationship correctly. It keeps it on the SAME LINE with the other wife and children, shoves it all the way to the end, wraps it around and then leave an dangling end (supposedly where the husband ought to be?, donno).

Has anyone else had this problem? For now, I have broken the latter relationship off to the side and linked it as a distant releationship, but this of course is not correct...!

Is there a solution to my problem?

Thanks.

Erick

You have reached the limit of AutoArrange, like most user who have complex family tree they have to use partial AutoArrange (on a section of the tree only), or do the layout manually using the mouse.

Ok, that sounds fair as long as you agree this is a future requirement for the tool(?).

One other question then. I assume all three individuals should correctly be linked as having been married. I am worried about GEDCOM export and reporting... What do you suggest?

Thanks.

Make sure that you use the gedcom export skin in the report generator. This is produces a ged file which is better for sending to other people who might be using different programs
