My problem is that I suddenly find that in the report, all the parent relationships become siblings. The tree is correct but not the report. (I don't know how to quote here parts of the tree or the report .) For example: If the tree were: Bob and Betty had 2 sons: Charlie and Chris, The report would read: "Bob has two brothers, Charlie and Chris." I have seen this bug when using an older Beta of GenoPro. During the last Beta, the tag pedigree_link got renamed to PedigreeLink . As a result, any Beta prior 19 does not understand the pedigree link, and therefore assume it is a child. All parents, adopted and foster child are ignored. You have to find an old backup of your original .gno file, or manuallly change the pedigree links from "child" to "parent" where appropriate.See Parent links converted to Child links after GenoPro 2007 update.

I am surprized to suddenly have this problem, because I've been updating my program regularly. When you say "manually change the pedigree links" how do you suggest doing that? I have the patience to go through all the links, but on the tree I can't determine which will be reported wrong.

If you click on the link and leave the cursor there for a moment, Genopro will show you what type of link it is. If it needs changing, right click and choose the correct relationship
