Export report to CD, include svg viewer

I published my report to the website and like it very much as an interface for others to view my research.  I want to generate that report to a cd so that family without the internet (but with a computer with IE, netscape, etc.) can view the report and photos on their computer (file paths have to update to cd rather than pointing to my C: drive as they do currently).  I suppose I'll also need to put the svg viewer on the cd as well as most people seem to need to download it to view the genogram.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to do this before I undertake the trail and error method?

If this isn't an easy thing to do maybe I'll just put the .gno file and the genopro.exe on the cd with photos, but how do I make sure the photos are "pathed" correctly?

Thanks in advance.

What you can do is publish your report on your local disk and then copy the files (HTML and pictures) to a CD, including the .xml, .gno.  The .gno file will already have the correct relative paths for the report, so everything should run fine on the CD.

Since the file InstallGenoPro.exe is small (less than 1 MB), you are welcome to include this file on the CD in case the user does not have GenoPro installed.  Including the SVG viewer is a good idea too.

When making a Cd for use by others I try to remember to make a test version on a rewriteable Rw disc first and then test it. This can show if things are missing, as long as it does not make use of files on your PC. However a normal Cd is more widely usable, particularly on older machines, so if it works properly copy to the standard disc - and of course reuse the Rw

Thanks for the responses, I generated a report to my computer, added the svg viewer and genopro.exe to the file and later I'll do a trial cd.  Thanks for the help!
