I'm a new GenoPro 2007 user saw "marriage" and "sibling" lines connected with vertical bar in demo, tutorial, even genopro's background but can not figure out how to do it :-( Is step-by-step instruction available some where? TIA

I suggest a good starting page for online help that explain well how to create link child to family to parents. I also strongly recommand using the Family Wizard. http://www.genopro.com/introduction/

families already created using 'add new son/daughter', 'link parent'.... tried with family wizard for a new map but there is only one line looked in Help, FAQ, all 15 pages of 'How to...' Post# 17975 by 'appleshaw' said put "cursor on the centre of the line, on the blue block, and the cursor will then change from a cross to a vertical double arrow...." Guess I'll try to find the 'blue block' at home later...

Try being more specific about the problem you have encountered. It is probably quite simple to resolve - once you know how. Like all programs there is a bit of a learning curve when you first start out and if you can demonstrate where you want advice, someone will sort it out. It helps to post a screen shot of your problems - but you need to be using Internet Explorer for that; Firefox does not allow you to attach images

300083 (7/9/2007) "cursor on the centre of the line, on the blue block, and the cursor will then change from a cross to a vertical double arrow...." Guess I'll try to find the 'blue block' at home later...have made a composite drawing, which will give you the clues.
Select the union/marrigae line, move your mouse over the center blue square and a double ended arrow will appear (smaller in size than shown), pull down and it will split the union line as shown

Another way (there is usually more than one way in programs!) to achieve that split line is to use the AutoArrange from the tools menu. If you have a family with more than two children, this will produce the split display with one line joining the parents and a parallel line joining the siblings. Personally I find this a nuisance as on a large display it takes up space, so if I use the AutoArrange I then join the lines - by dragging them.
As I said, there are many ways to get what you want, when you find how to do it
