More extensive privacy?

I am trialing Genopro 2007. I saw this issue discussed in a thread from 2005, but still have not found that it's implemented in GP2007. I realize many items in a family tree are simply a matter of public record and that when published on the web, can be password protected & htaccess files can make spiders skip over them, so they don't show up in search engines. However, in the interest of living family members who still may become wigged that their personal info is "out there", are there plans to have more extensive privacy options? IE, click on an individual & state to use initials only and the option to apply those changes to their progeny?

At present the privacy filtering consists of the ability to exclude all living people from a report ie web document. If you want to restrict access to a report with living people, this can be password protected. It would be possible to move some people to a different genomap to exclude them, but this would be messy
Earlier betas had a privacy filter as you describe but with a changing structure it caused problems and was withdrawn. It is due to be re-instated but no timescale even considered yet

I developed a skin to handle extended privacy earlier this year. I have just upgraded it to support Genopro 2.0.0.7. Download from http://roots.havercan.net/GenoPro-Skins/.
