"The storage header is invalid. GenoPro cannot continue because the data format is unknown." What means "The storage header"? What are you trying to do?

The storage header is a technical term when the beginning of a file has been corrupted. I don't think I have seen this message in the past decade, however it is very important if it happens because this message directs what to do with the file.
