Hello there,

how does one add pictures to the SVG genomap in an HTML report as shown here?

I found this here:

Thank you very much in advance,
Rainer

The answer at present is DIY. Use the search facility to look for (svg picture) and you will see it is on the wish list. Basically you have to export the family tree as a metafile and then add your pictures

That is not the full answer appleshaw  It is in fact possible to add pictures to an SVG graphic in a generated HTML Narrative Report as in the example by using a special form of a GenoPro Label. The technique is described in this post.

Effectively I have Ron to thank for this as he showed me how to do it and though it takes a while it's well worth it. Tongue:

btw, can one make this work also with a printout of the map (i.e. when producing a PDF file)?

Use the program "inkscape", open the genomap0.svg (or 1 or 2 or 3) from the generated report and export from there to PNG. You can edit the SVG within inkscape. I.e. you have to remove the pink marker (circle) and the green spot.
