I know this question was discussed before. I was trying to put a unique hits counter on my report, but somehow it doesn't seem to work. I tried putting the code in default.htm and also in toc_individuals.htm Are unique hit counters restricted? Thanks.

We do not filter nor prevent any clients script on the pages. The only thing that is added is a Google analytic tracking that we use internally to monitor number of visitors.

Server-side scripting such as PHP or ASP are not allowed for security reason; any javascript is welcome.

If you are a GenoPro customer, we have free tracker that counts unique visitors without installing anything.  The statistics are available in the Control Panel.

Thanks. Where should I place the javascript counter code, please. I tried placing it just before </body> tag in default.htm and it didn't work.

1) Do a search on 'Statcounter'.
2) This post should not be in the 'Rep Gene Bugs' section.

Thanks. I put the code in name.htm and it seems to work fine, locally on my computer, but how does the file get transported to familytrees.genopro.com. I tried direct web-publishing twice and I don't see the counter.

GenoPro has an 'FTP Client' tool to upload individual files.
