It would be nice to record the census details in a better way. For a given census return (eg UK 1851), I would like to enter each of the family members names, ages, relationship to head, occupations, place of birth, and general notes appearing on the census. Then for each of those members, there will also be a common occupancy and source. Also, would like to be able to include the scanned copy (image) of census (available from ancestry if you're a subscriber). The information overlaps with occupation and contact records, but difficult to enter separately. Would be much easier if we could enter using a census record wizard.

I found an ancestor, one Richard Mather in the 1841 UK census, and later appears on the 1850 US census. After some online searching, I have found evidence to suggest this Richard Mather was born in 1770 to William Mather and Elizabeth Ingram. If you would like to discuss these people, send me an email. |
