I am not sure if I am posting this in the right forum, but I would like to know if it is possible to generate reports in word documents. I am a therapist and use this program to create genograms for my clients. I don't want to generate a report if it is going to publish online as this would breach confidentiality. Ideally, I would like to have a written report in word document similar to how it looks on-line minus a few details such as displaying the pedigree charts. This would be useful to send to caseworkers along with the genogram itself. Thank You -Angela Meza, PLMHP, Therapist

The HTML Narrative Report you speak of does not have to be published 'online' i.e. on the internet or intranet. The report can be generated locally to a folder on your hard disc as you would a Word document. The contents of that folder can then be passed to caseworkers e.g. on a CD or as a zip file. Hence no more breach of confidentiality than with a Word document. They will just need to open the file default.htm in a browser to view details. The pedigree chart can be surpressed if not required using the Configuraton Parameters dialog when you generate the report. Alternatively you can generate a Descendants Report. This produces a Word or Open Office document with all details except photos.
