I have been using the .PNG format for a couple of years now. The quality does not depreciate if it is reduced in size, to be sent as an attachment, and then returned to its former size. It is stable and now widely used. Question: Why can't I use .PNG photographs in the Pictures section?

I think the answer is that the image display within GenoPro has been written specifically and does not use other programs. You probably know that you can use the batch processing within IrfanView to convert file types and at the same time resize images. It is better to limit the size of images if you intend publishing on the web

Thank you for your answer. I'll try Infraview and see how it goes. At the moment, when I want to include a photo in GenoPro, I change the format in Photoshop to .JPG and copy it into a folder I made under GenoPro.
