I can reproduce this problem with Firefox & Chrome bowsers but not with IE8 beta that I happen to be using at the moment. I have not tested other versions of IE. I wonder if there has been a recent change on the familytrees site to cause this? I ask that Jean-Claude of GenoPro investigate this. Opening any .jpg file e.g. http://familytrees.genopro.com/Harry-Potter/pictures/Katie-Bell.jpg directly from the site with a non-IE browser causes the .jpg to display as text!
Very strange - the Content-Type in the header is set to text/html which I believe is incorrect. It probably works with IE because IE in its usual non-standard way ignores Content-Type and relies on the file extension instead.

This issue should be fixed by now, as Ron said it was only the MIME type.
