Hi,
using the most up to date GenoPro I've got a rather big tree from a FTM user. The import ran without error message, but the resulting diagram seems to be a more layered printed circuit (how could I insert the see screen picture?), on a single GenoMap. It's possible to edit it, but in case of more hundred persons it's not efficient enough. The AutoArrange doesn't help (makes nothing)
The TableLayout works well. What could we do?
Best regards
Bela

Have you seen?
http://www.genopro.com/tutorials/videos/splitting-a-family-tree/
Also search this forum as there have been many descriptions of this topic.

One feature that gets overlooked is that after you have moved a person to a new GenoMap, pressing the key 'V' will move the family to join the person.

A useful thing is to use the table layout and sort on date to find someone at the top of a tree. Also use the features to add those older ancestors, as the oldest known people often do not have date information.

Hope this gets you started
