Is there a way to print the grid lines on the tree?

This is a good suggestion.  I took a note of it.

Instead of grid lines on a print I have added horizontal lines where I want them - either for centuries where the tree has been arranged in date order or ancestor levels to show equivalent generations.
To add the standard grid could make the print more difficult to look at, particularly if there is no option to change the spacing. Another advantage of using a line is that they can be coloured.
However it would be nice to have a grid option

I use one grid square fo 10 years and use some lines for the centuries as well as markers, if there was a choice of styles for grid lines, dotted, thin etc it would be very useful when I print to pdf.
