Any help about how to permanently delete the old tree, so that the new one, shorter can be shown in the web?.

If you have deleted the old files and replaced them then two possibilities to try If you have replaced a file with one of the same name then when you try to load it your browser will try to be helpful and load the previous version, which it stored in a cache on your PC - for the purpose of a quick reload. Try pressing the F5 key, or even use the Ctrl key as well. On Firefox the Ctrl+R is the shortcut, which you can also access from the View menu. The other place that your original file could be stored is in a search engine cache - so if you use Google to find your file and load them you again will get the old file until Google updates their data which can take several days. If this does not provide an answer then give a bit more detail, including where the files are stored. If they are on the GenoPro site there are several things that can be checked

appleshaw is right,
When publishing on familytrees.genopro.com we just override files, old file stay there. This allow partial update and keeping custom file from our ftp tool.
If you really wish to clean it up, delete it entirely and re-publish again.
In the next verison of GenoPro you will be able to modify your publication from GenoPro, but for now you can only password-protect and delete publication from this web site

Hmmm. I've tried several times, deleting and uploading again. In Control Planes i see the last report uploaded but when i type in google a name, always appears the old file, that was deleted.

angeleurrutia (5/3/2010) Hmmm. I've tried several times, deleting and uploading again. Just be patient and all the data will eventually completely disappear from the web.

Two things here If you delete a file and reload it your OS still has the old version in cache and if you ask for the same file name you will get the old file. This happens both on your PC and over the internet. The solution here is to Refresh (usually F5) or use the icon. The other way your old file is preserved in cache is if you use a search engine such as Google, who again cache files to speed up searching/loading. There has been several posts here on how to speed up Google refresh. Try the search facility

MarttiAru (7/26/2010) Problem is that it does not appear under my account (I remember that I deleted it some times ago). You are right, your publication is still listed at http://familytrees.genopro.com/Sugupuu/Minu-Inimesed/ while being not visible under your account. I have fixed the problem and we are investigating why this problem occurred. Some special characters such as the space ( ) or dash (-) are encoded differently in a URL. As a result, your publication may have been stored in our database as http://familytrees.genopro.com/Sugupuu/Minu%2DInimesed/ instead of http://familytrees.genopro.com/Sugupuu/Minu-Inimesed/.

The publication http://familytrees.genopro.com/Sugupuu/Minu-Inimesed/ has been removed. The delay is from the Google, Bing and other search engine not removing the HTML pages from their index cache.

Try http://support.genopro.com/ControlPanel.aspx and then click the GenoPro tab Or go stright here with http://collaboration.genopro.com/Account.aspx Scroll down to Online Publications where you can delete a report. It might still exist on the web until search engines update their cache
