PLEASE HELP - It has been 5 years since I worked on my tree. Imoved to India, changed email addresses several times and email providers many times; I can't even remember the details I used when I bought GenoPro Gold. So no I am back in the UK and want to access all the data I collected. BUT, big problem, as I can't remember my old email, used to register on the system. Is there anything I can do?????
By GenoProSupport - Wednesday, July 14, 2010
Please send me some information about yourself or your previous email addresses.  Your registration key is there in our database waiting for you to access it.

Dear Team,
I really hope you can help me.!
I purchased GenoPro Gold some years ago, and did a huge amount of work on my family tree.
Five years ago, I moved to India, and stopped doing my research because of various computer-related problems (crashed hard drive etc!) I changed my email provider several times and now can't even remember what address I used!

I really hope you can help.....as I am now back in the UK and ready to get going again. My mother is Jane McCluskie Ward. I have a sister Senga. My father-in-law was John Philips Kerr...am not sure how much info you need.....

I really need to access all the GenoPro information as my hard drive crashes (3!) and computer theft (1) have left you as my last hope.
Yours sincerely,
Linda J Kerr

My previous email addresses could have been something like:

ashm [@] pipex.com or perhaps l-j- ...[@ ]pipex.com or linda...[@] lineone.net or something similar, but I'm afraid I have lost all records.

Thanks!

I have updated your account with your new email address.  Your primary email is @Yahoo.com and you may recover your registration key and password from http://www.genopro.com/login/ using any email address in your GenoPro account.

According to our records, we do not have any family tree stored on our server.  If you want us to backup your family tree, you have to use the Backup Dialog (http://www.genopro.com/help/backup-online/)

Am confused........ I bought GenoPro Gold some time ago, and used it a lot - not the 14-day trial which is what I am accessing at the moment.

I have once before lost access to my information, and retrieved it once before, so don't reall understand that you have no imformation on file..........

Do I have to start from scratch? or does the purchase of GenoPro Gold mean I can still have accesss to a permanent key?

Thanks for your help!

L J Kerr

Your golden key (registration key) is in your account.  Just go to http://www.genopro.com/login/ and enter your email address.  The server will send you an email with your golden key.
By KeralaKerr - Thursday, July 15, 2010
Thank you for your help........ I can get into the 14-day trial, but I'm not sure I have access to my Permanent key. I seem to be getting a message telling me how much time I have left. Still don't think I'm home....... I have downloaded GenoPro onto my computer, but keep getting replies to my email for access to the trial........

Your permanent registration key is the one starting with RJQ-TUQ and ending with 8581. If you enter a permanent registration key, you will never see the registration dialog (http://www.genopro.com/registration/).

Any registration key ending with TMP is a temporary/evaluation key which GenoPro displays the remaining number of days until the key expires.

By GenoProSupport - Thursday, July 15, 2010
I discovered your account has multiple registration keys, however the Control Panel displays a temporary key instead of your [old] permanent key.  We are investigating the issue why the temporary key is displayed instead of your permanent key.

I sent you a separate email with your permanent registration key.

I need guidance, please.

I teach Public health nursing every fall.  Last fall I applied and received a free 180 trial.  We used it in class, and the students made great use of it.

I haven't used it since [with all due respect] and now am getting ready to begin the new semester, and cannot renew my academic trial.

I surely do not mind purchasing my own subscription.  the $49 is fair.
But, if I purchase my own, can I still give my students my code and allow them to sign on?

or, is there a way to get another 180 trial license as an educator and have my students use that registration number?

I did find this help forum but am not finding the specific issue I have tonight.

Thank you!

now am getting ready to begin the new semester, and cannot renew my academic trial.
The reason you cannot renew your academic trial is you may get only one 180-day key per year.    Feel free using the following key 885-46J-AKZ-LCT-TMP which is valid for another 180 days.

But, if I purchase my own, can I still give my students my code and allow them to sign on?
Yes, simply give the same referrer ID as last year.  Remember, you may not be able to renew your academic trial, however every new student will get a fresh 180-day academic key because they all have different email addresses.  If you have two email addresses and two computers, you may get two academic keys per year, and therefore use GenoPro forever by getting 180-day evaluation academic keys.

Dear sir/madam,

Following renewal of my GenoPro registration (September 19th, 2010), I found out that, most unfortunately, most of the pictures plus picture descriptions at family members, which already introduced during my previous account, were lost! Is there any way to get these previous pictures plus info introductions back? And next, what is the risk of losing anew introduced pictures and picture descriptions yet another time?

Kind regards,

Herman Engelbart, The Netherlands

GenoPro's Online Backup system does not backup the pictures, so you will have to recover the pictures from your hard drive or from http://familytrees.genopro.com (if you have published your family tree to http://familytrees.genopro.com. We have our FTP Client at http://www.genopro.com/help/ftp-client/

According to our records, there is no purchased registration key in ***jule@gmail.com or ***jule@hotmail.com.  Maybe you purchased GenoPro with another email address...
By 38823 - Thursday, September 23, 2010
Can you try with the mail ***blue@hotmail.com, or maybe ***st@yahoo.com? If not...it must be registered with my name Gilberto Jule.

I have many years of work there! so please y really aprecciate your help.

I was unable to find anything with those emails, however searching deeper I found a Golden Key.  Can you please tell me the country it was purchased and I will transfer the key to you.
By 38823 - Thursday, September 23, 2010
Yes, it was a Golden Key. It was El Salvador as country

I have updated your account with your registration key and all your emails.  When you register GenoPro, simply use your email @gmail.com and you will receive your key, or visit http://collaboration.genopro.com/account.aspx and open the Registration Key section.

Hi.  I have the same issue as the others in this forum.  I purchased GenoPro about three years ago, and my old computer recently crashed.  Also, my old email was discontinued, so I have no way to reclaim my registration key on my own.

My name is Neil Cadle, and my old email address was ***neil@verizon.net  My new email is neil***@gmail.com

Please let me know if there is any other information I can give you that might help you identify me as a valid purchaser of GenoPro.

Thanks much!

Neil

Try logging in with your old email address - if you can remember the password. It does not have to be a working address; it is in effect a log-in name. If you can log in then go to http://collaboration.genopro.com/Account.aspx, which is the new accounts page and there is a link to a page containing the registration key.

I have updated your account with your new email. In the Registration dialog, simply request a free evaluation key and GenoPro will re-send your purchased key.

Hi
I managed to access the program but after making changes I did not save
And writes about upgrading to 2016.
Why do I have to pay again?
At the time I paid a lot of money.

You should download and use GenoPro 2011, not GenoPro 2016. See https://www.genopro.com/2011/

Hi Support,

Could you help me access my account as when I am using the "Forgot Password" option, the email confirmation was not being received on the email. Could you help me with my details so I could retrieve my registration keys?

We are planning to upgrade to the latest version and need those keys.

Let me know if you need further details from me.
