This option is already there. If you download the latest version at http://www.genopro.com/monica/, you will see the display text label uses the outline of the second color. |

I understand. I am just curious why you would like to have a rectangle background instead of a text outline. I thought this upgrade of outlining the text was superior to a rectangle background.

The reason is very simply. The second option is more visible on genomaps with smaller zoom.

Can you try GenoPro 2.5.2.4 at http://www.genopro.com/monica/ and tell me if you see the text better. I have increased the width of text outline.
