Family rank of children in report

I have 2 parents with 4 children.  The children are listed as William (rank 1), Robert (rank 1), Phillip (rank 2) & Richard (rank 4).  They are all in the right order (from their birth dates) so how can I get them to read 1, 2, 3, 4? I have gone to Change Children Order but nothing I do will change the 1 into a 2 and the 2 into a 3.  When I generate a report it says both William and Robert are the eldest child. I am bewildered!

'Right click' on the Family Line, select 'Properties', then select the Summary Tab.  You will see a 'Change Children Order' button.

Hi poolzone ... this is what I am getting and want to change

I have gone to the Change Children Order button several ways, but this still does not change the Family Rank. From my previous post and picture, you can see my dilemma.  The children are in the right order, but the ranks are way off, i.e. 1, 1, 2, 4 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4. resulting in the first two children being the oldest in the report generator.

I have solved the problem!! Amazing what a good night's sleep achieves.http://support.genopro.com/Uploads/Images/ccf8eb1e-f0f6-4d64-ab92-3e69.JPG However I had to delete both Robert & Phillip and re-enter their information, but it worked! Luckily they both had only a few stats to enter.

Too late now but maybe you could have just deleted their pedigree links to the family line and then re-linked them (context menu 'link as child') to save you having to re-enter data.

Is there anything GenoPro could do to fix this?  The button Change Children Order should work and also return the correct family rank for the report.  Can you post a sample .gno file and I will see what is happening.
