Hi there,
I use GenoPro for my family tree and am very impressed with the software. I have searched the 'net for software which would allow me to carry my genealogy information on my BlackBerry 9700 Bold, but there seems to be a distinct gap in the market for genealogy software on the BB.
Are there any plans to get GenoPro onto SmartPhones?
Even a scaled down GenoPro viewer would be really great, one that could follow hyperlinks (between worksheets too) and show properties of individuals. Come to think of it a distributable viewer which could be put on a CD along with my tree would be great too

We have an on-going project called GenoLight at http://genolight.genopro.com/
GenoLight is a stripped-down version of GenoPro running on Silverlight, which is similar as Flash application. If your smartphone supports Silverlight, then, you will be able to access your GenoPro files. GenoLight will also be open source, so anyone will be able to add the features they wishes. GenoLight is currently scheduled to be launche as the same time as GenoPro Gamma. So far, GenoLight is able to add individuals and modify very very basic information such as name and birth/death date. No fancy detail such as Education, Occupation or Place but the good news is that it's working with existing GenoPro file in the collaboration mode, so you can just update your new nephew birthday date on your smart phone.

Ah, awesome, can't wait...
I would like to try it out and see if it will work on my phone - could I be a beta tester?
I tried to visit the URL given, but it asked for a login. I used my Genopro login which seemed to be accepted but was then offered a list of projects, which was empty.
Thanks in advance,
