Firstly I did several searches including here for answers regarding "importing html" and could find no answer - so if it has been covered before please accept my apologises. It's been more than 3 years since I've done any work on my family tree. Illness and other issues forced a life changing move but now I'm almost back on my feet. My problem - the pc which I left behind with my nephew failed with damage hd and motherboard and therefore all my genopro files/folders have been lost (luckily my family tree pictures were backed upto a storage site but not linked to there!!! on my fmaily tree site. My family tree had been uploaded (I remember to several locations) but I cannot find all except 1 which is password protected (I have the password) but there is no ged file....... Is there any software that will extract data from genopro created html files (over 6000 family members) - as many of you know spending hours upon hours of finding data and creating a family tree is very time consuming and I would prefer not to have to go down that line if unncessary..... I hope there is an easy way to pickup where I finished some 3 years ago.... Thanks for reading...

By default, GenoPro includes in your HTML report a .gno file and a .ged file of your family tree. Can you search your HTML report for a file named FamilyTree.gno?

Hi
Thanks for your reply. I cannot seem to download anything - probably due to the password restriction (think it used something like HTML Password Lock that replaces the index.html page. Here is the link http://homepage.ntlworld.com/philip.hunt2/GenoPro/The email address on front page no longer exists. If admin/moderator wants to confirm my identity - check my email address registered here with the link above pm'd the password to admin

GenoPro has no access to other websites. If you had published your family tree to http://familytrees.genopro.com , I could have merged your old account with your new email address, however it is impossible for GenoPro to access the protected content of another website.
