Hello,

The pictures in the report I generated now appear in black and white.  Is there some setting I need to change?

  Thanks,

I do not know the cause of this. I seem to recall a similar post a while back but cannot locate it in the forum, perhaps because of the poor search facilities it has.

However if you are using thumbnails it may be down to a problem with Irfanview. When you click a thumbnail does the image then appear in colour?  Perhaps try installing the latest version of Irfanview if not already done.  Are they also b&w if you generate the report locally on your PC?

I am using the latest version of IrfanView.

And yes, they are Black & White on my PC as well.  I thought this may have to do with IrfanView saving in grayscale instead of color, but looking at the IrfanView configuration settings, it looks like the feature for saving in grayscale is not set.

No solution yet...

When you run the program, I assume it appears in color, in which case it must be some setting I need to define on my computer.

How about Irfanview's option to 'Load as greyscale'? (see Options / Properties/Settings / JPG/PCD/GIF)
