Is it possible to include Hijra Calander used by Muslims  as an additional option and to have the dates of birth, marriage, death, etc. recorded as per that Calander?   Also a conversion feature of dates from Georgian to Hija and vice versa would be most useful.

OK, I need to find some code to convert from the Gregorian calendar to Hijra calendar.  I have found http://www.islamicfinder.org/Hcal/index.php which have to reverse-engineer the code and adapt it to GenoPro.

Check this:  http://pkl.net/~node/teasel/gramps30/DateHandler._DateParser.DateParser-class.html. It seems quite verbose, not only dealing with bc, but also abt, circa, Hebrew and French (republican) calendars, etc. Maybe it gives you some hints.

Edit: I dig deeper here: http://pkl.net/~node/teasel/gramps30/DateHandler-pysrc.html and found the package.

Great! With resources now available I am sure we will soon have the features of Hijra Calander +  conversion features available in GenoPro.   Can't wait for it .... hope the update comes soon.

Kind Regards to all...
