How to delete individuals or whole tabs from report without deleting them from the file.
I guess there is a checkbox somewhere for this option, but I can't find it.

Also, if I choose to publish an individual, how to supress publishing some comments that I wrote for my private use, without actually erasing them?

You can omit individuals from the report by checking the 'Make Label / Exclude From Report' box on the Family tab of the Individual's Properties. You can make a report on an individual GenoMap, but there is no option to exclude individual GenoMaps from the report.

One option is to save a different version of the file, without comments etc, and publish that. You can play safe by saving your original version, obviously before editing it, using the GenoPro online backup. Allways a good thing to do anyway

There are two mechanisms to prevent comments or part comments from being published in the Narrative Report.

The recommended way is to prefix the comment text that you want to be private with the directive <?hide?>.  If you want a later part of the same comment to be visible then insert the directive <?text?> after the private portion.
e.g.
This is a published comment<?hide?> but nobody will see this bit<?text?> and this last part will also be visible

The second method involves editing Dictionary.xml and changing the "T" attribute value of the "Private" tag to say § and using this character to prefix private text in comments.
