I have got Microsoft Office Access data base with several 1000's patients records. How can I connect this that data base with GenpPro so that when I enter the patients' ID into GenoPro I get automatically all other fields filled in e.i. Name, Surname, DOB, etc.
Thank you.

Well, I do not see easy way out...

First, you need to match the data in your MS Access file with the data, that GenoPro is handling. If you database contains also parent-child link information you need to map this as well.
Then you need to prepare a query in MS Access, which produces a file with the necessary information (preferably in GEDCOM form)
Finally, you need to import this file to GenoPro.

Thank you very much foryour suggestions that looks very reasonable.

I am far of being anexpert in programming skills but I will see with some friends of mine who aremuch more familiar with MS Access. As soon as we achieve something I’ll let youknow. Or, I may need some more assistance.

Gedcom is a way to import data into GenoPro but it creates an individual, or family of individuals. This will need to be merged with your data in GenoPro, and there is no facility for this, you need to do this yourself. It might be possible to do this using copy & paste in the table layout.
If you look at the site map on this forum there is a Developers SDK, but this is for experienced programmers.
