Generating the report into //familytrees.genopro.com/.. causes this Error twice in one Report run.
Once in the beginning and the second times when the genomap is to be written.
This Erroror is shown since I installed the GenoPro 2011 version 2.5.4.1
I'm still using the old Skin Narrative_2.0.1.6(rev.2010.02.12) because I use the German dictionary.xml got from maru-san (Nils Martensen).
Copying that dictionary in the new Skin 2013.04.28 causes dozends of errors.
Using the old configuration (generating the 2 Errors 404) generates a genomap with no pictures in.
Generating the report into a local file works without any error!
What is the best solution?

The 404 Error has already been reported by powery see http://support.genopro.com/Topic31725.aspx , I have just added my thoughts on this.

One cause of no pictures in a web report that do appear locally is that the checkbox for 'Link all files from my computer' is set under the Options tab of the Generate Report dialog.

Mine looks like this

Publishing report to http://familytrees.genopro.com/MalteseAussie/Frendo/Zerafa/

Connecting to server familytrees.genopro.com...

HTTP Error 404: file not found

https://familytrees.genopro.com/MalteseAussie/Frendo/Zerafa/GenoProCache.xml

Cloning document FamilyTree[1]...

Opening configuration file Config.xml for skin '\Customized English Narrative Report\* (English Narrative Report)'...

Loading Dictionary.xml...

[0.00] Processing template 'init.htm'...

Base skin version from Config.xml:2011.02.04

To enable display of parameter settings, untick the box under 'Options' tab of this dialog.

N.B. PDF images for GenoMaps will not be generated as the Inkscape package must be installed for this but Inkscape was not found on the path specified (or defaulted) in Config Parameter 'InkscapePath' (C:\Program Files\Inkscape\inkscape.exe)

Please help....   Sad

Ron will know more, but from the notes you give I suggest trying to make sure that the Parameter Configuration Settings box is clicked (on the Options tab). On the Settings menu open the last line, SVG/PDF Settings and change the first line to SVG only

I am not sure what help you need.  I have already explained that the 404 Error can be ignored as it has not impact on the generated report.

I hope the message about Inkscape is self-explanatory.  If you want PDF versions of your GenoMaps in your report then you will need to install Inkscape on your PC.  If you are running 64 bit Windows then the skin probably won't find it so you should specify the path in Config Params.

Your report generated successfully with SVG images of GenoMaps and so PDFs are not needed.
