hi.
it is good if the program has an option to show the names vertically. that option can be along the another option "Display text vertically", which is already done in your software (while clicking "properties")
i mean case 2 on this image:

GenoPro.exe has been static for some 18 months and development will continue to be suspended for the forseeable future (cf. http://support.genopro.com/Topic31797.aspx)
The Narrative report relies on the GenoMap layout positioning to produce SVG images and therefore there is no prospect of your suggestion being implemented any time soon.
