Every student need to request their own key, the key you post is a temporary key still valid for 144 days. He can use it; just copy paste the key if he can't get his own key.

When I used GenopPro for my grad class previously, students just submitted my User Name.  I recently submitted my syllabus and was awaiting a confirmation that my class is granted access.  Can I just give my students my access key, and ask them to sign in that way?

Also, I have my own license key, personal.  Are students allowed to use that, or must I obtain a separate academic key?  Thanks

Dear Professor Moragues,

First your personal key should be kept for yourself. You can use it at home, laptop, school but should not be shared with all your students.

You already applied to our academic program in 2011 and you have been approved back then, there is no need to apply again. The approval is for your lifetime. Just give your referral ID or your email (@yahoo.com) and they will received a 180 day free temporary key... each of them. So they will be able to use GenoPro for the full semester.

If a student need more than 180 days, he should consider purchasing the software.

Have a good day!

Thank you for such prompt reply.  I presume that my referral ID is the same as my User Name, J******s.  Is that correct?  THanks

Edit: Hide academic referral code.

Not necessary but in your case yes; you could specified it when you applied. If you don't like it you can send me a message I will update it for you.

Are you still offering free services to students who are in my Bowen Familly Systems Theory course at Loma Linda University.  Here is my syllabus.  If the offer still stands would you let me know how my students can access genopro.  Thank you.

I am a grad student attempting to download GenoPro needed for a current class project.  However, every download link provided on the GenoPro website brings up a web page saying the download page is unavailable and to verify the website address.  I have verified that my computer is compatible, so what steps should I take now?

The usual one http://www.genopro.com/InstallGenoPro.exe works for me. Is your anti-virus software blocking .exe downloads?

The provided link is the same one I have been having trouble with, in addition to other links on the GenoPro website.  I have checked that my firewall and antivirus software is not blocking the download AND have tried multiple computers, including one that I had actually used Genopro on a couple of years ago.  Each one sends me to the same following error page:

This page can't be displayed
  • Make sure the web address http://www.genopro.com is correct.
  • Look for the page with your search engine.
  • Refresh the page in a few minutes.

I was first using Internet Explorer, so I have since tried using Mozilla Firefox.  This did nothing to solve the issue either.  What other options do I have?  It is essential that I have access to this software for my assignment.
